The University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) participated in the 8th National and 5th International Scientific Conference organised by the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala, held under the theme “Pure Sciences: A Pillar of Sustainable Development”.

Representing the university, Dr Waqid Al-Moussawi, Vice President for Academic Affairs, emphasised that the university’s role extended beyond attendance, contributing actively to the scientific and preparatory committees. This participation reflects the institution’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and engaging with the broader scientific community—locally and internationally.

He added that the university places strong emphasis on advancing quality education through research and innovation while also building long-term academic partnerships that support inclusive and sustainable development.

These efforts are in line with the university’s strategic vision and the guidance of the representative of the religious authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbala’i, in supporting Iraq’s higher education sector and strengthening its role in societal progress.
