As part of its efforts to strengthen practical learning and bridge theoretical knowledge with industrial applications, the Department of Petroleum and Gas Engineering at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) organised a scientific field trip to Al-Doura Refinery in Baghdad.

The visit aimed to familiarise students with the refinery's operational mechanisms and modern oil refining technologies, contributing to the development of their engineering competencies. This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 9 — Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure — by supporting sustainable industrialisation and encouraging innovation.
