Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences meets a student from the College of Media
As part of his keenness to enhance communication with students and encourage them to achieve academic excellence, Dr. Talal Faeq Al-Kamali, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at Warith Al-Anbiya University, met a student from the College of Media on Monday.
During the meeting, the discussion revolved around the importance of academic specializations in building society, and Dr. Talal discussed with the student ways to enhance cooperation between the various colleges within the university, stressing the vital role played by the media in conveying a positive image and supporting human values.

Joint meeting between the College of Islamic Sciences at Warith Al-Anbia University and the University of Karbala to lay the foundations for the joint exam
Within the framework of academic cooperation between the College of Islamic Sciences at Warith Al-Anbia University and the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, a joint meeting was held on Monday 1/27/2025 with the aim of laying the main foundations for the joint exam for the departments of jurisprudence and its principles and Quranic sciences.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ali Ahmed Nasser, Head of the Department of Jurisprudence and its Principles, and Dr. Muhammad Al-Amiri, Head of the Department of Quranic Sciences, where the two parties discussed the organizational and coordination mechanisms for the joint exam, in a way that ensures academic justice and motivates students to do their best.
This meeting comes within the framework of seeking to enhance cooperation between the two colleges, and unify academic efforts in a way that achieves the goals of higher education, and raises the level of scientific and research performance of students in both institutions.
The College of Islamic Sciences holds the third workshop for the "Words of Light" project to correct exercises and review performance online
Within the framework of the "Words of Light" project for writing the Holy Quran, the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya held the third workshop on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at ten in the morning, via the Zoom platform, in the presence of calligrapher Dr. Rasool Al-Zarkani, President of the Calligraphers Association in Babylon.
The workshop focused on correcting errors in the exercises that the participants had previously sent, with accurate notes to improve the quality of the Quranic calligraphy. It also included studying and analyzing the participants' performance, which helped develop their writing skills according to the precise rules of the arts of Arabic calligraphy.
The workshop received positive interaction from the attendees, who praised the academic support and valuable technical guidance provided to them, expressing their gratitude for the college's efforts in raising awareness of the importance of the arts of Quranic calligraphy and achieving accuracy and beauty in its writing.

Volunteer work and community service are among the fixed contexts of the College of Medicine, Al-Warith University (PBUH), deans, professors and students on all sacred religious occasions, as they enlist themselves in medical detachments to serve the visitors of the pure Imams, peace and blessings be upon them. On the occasion of the martyrdom of Imam Al-Kadhim (PBUH) on the twenty-fifth of Rajab in the year 183 AH, the professors and students of the College of Medicine volunteered to serve the visitors of the Imam and provide them with diagnostic and therapeutic field medical services. It is no secret that Imam Musa al-Kadhim ibn Jaafar ibn Muhammad ibn Ali al-Hashemi al-Qurashi (7 Safar 128 AH - 25 Rajab 183 AH) is one of the scholars of Muslims, and the seventh Imam of the Twelver Shiites. His father, Imam Jaafar ibn Muhammad al-Sadiq, is one of the jurists of Islam. He spent part of his life in prison, and witnessed a sensitive period in the history of Muslims. His nickname is Abu Ibrahim and Abu al-Hasan, and among his titles are al-Kadhim, the righteous servant, the door of needs, and the master of Baghdad. He was called al-Kadhim because of the intensity of his anger and patience in the face of the injustice of the oppressors. We ask God Almighty to accept these voluntary works from them and to bestow acceptance and satisfaction upon the distinguished College of Medicine, and reward and recompense upon its professors and students, and continued progress and advancement in comprehensive health services.
2025/01/26The Deanship of the College of Medicine, Warith Al-Anbia University, is keen on the continuity of work according to the university calendar and the achievement of academic curricula and not delaying attendance. Lectures were implemented on the Saturday and Sunday holiday, corresponding to 24-25 / Rajab, through the FCC platform and according to the timings of the theoretical and practical lecture schedules. The attendance of students for all stages was approximately 80%. This comes based on the directives of the Presidency of Warith Al-Anbia University to adopt all available means for optimal performance, including digital platforms and electronic communication methods to implement academic programs and not delay work.

2025/01/24Today, third-year medical students at Al-Warith University of Prophets completed their mid-term exam for the Parasitology course. The exam was meticulously organized and included a range of questions that tested students’ ability to analyze and deeply understand the material. The purpose of the exam is to enhance students’ skills in diagnosing and managing parasitic diseases, better preparing them to face challenges in this critical area of medicine.
2025/01/23Heir al-Anbiya University (peace be upon him) achieved three distinguished awards during the Iraqi Science Day activities organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister and prominent academic and research figures.
The honor included an award for the best volunteer group work for student Hassan Ali Hussein Obaid from the College of Nursing in recognition of his effective contribution to community work, and honoring Doctor Hashem Talib Hashem from the College of Medicine for writing a scientific book that contributes to enriching the academic library. Dr. Aksam achieves first place in the course of teaching methods according to blended education
Dr. Aksam, a lecturer at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya, obtained first place in the course of teaching methods in Iraqi universities towards blended education, which was held according to the updated curricula of the humanities specialization for the academic year 2024/2025.

The Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya, Dr. Talal Faeq Mujbil, participated in the discussion committee of the doctoral thesis of the student Lamis Khadir Abbas Mahmoud, which bore the title:
"The Light of Success and the Revelation of Verse 142 of Surat Al-Baqarah to Verse 203: Study and Investigation".
The discussion session was held on Sunday 5/1/2025 in the Imam Al-Hussein Hall (peace be upon him) at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, in the presence of an elite group of professors and specialists.

The College of Medicine at the University of warith Al-Anbiyaa, in collaboration with the Operations Directorate at the Ministry of Health, hosted an Emergency Medicine Training Course from January 12 to 16, 2025. The course aimed to train medical graduates from Iraqi universities on how to manage emergency medical situations.
The course included specialized lectures delivered by a distinguished team of Emergency Medicine experts from the Operations Directorate, consisting of: • Dr. Fadhil Akla Binyan Al-Rubai • Dr. Nasrat Shaker Mohammed Hussein • Dr. Alaa Abdul-Rahman • Dr. Nawar Maaz
Under the supervision of Dr. Fadhil Akla Binyan Al-Rubai, Director of Emergency Operations and Medical Services, the course covered training sessions on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), the management of critical cases, and the responsibilities of residents in the emergency department. The course lasted for five days and included both theoretical lectures and practical workshops. On the final day, a written exam was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Fadhil Akla, where the participating doctors achieved excellent results, reflecting their proficiency and outstanding performance.
At the end of the course, the participants expressed their immense gratitude for the valuable content and training. They extended their heartfelt thanks to the supervisors and organizers for their efforts in ensuring the success of this important training initiative. The event, hosted by Al-Zahraa University (peace be upon her) for Girls in the (Umm Abiha) Hall, witnessed wide participation from the presidents of Iraqi and Iranian universities, in addition to prominent academic and social figures, reflecting the importance of scientific cooperation between the two countries.

The College of Scince hosted a student forum for the IT department, with notable attendance from first and second-year students. The forum began with a blessed recitation from the Quran, followed by the reading of Al-Fatiha for the late student Zain Al-Abidin from the College of Engineering. In her welcoming speech, Assistant Professor Dr. Shaima Hussein Nawfal, Dean of the College, expressed her pride in the new students, praising the spirit of cooperation and initiative that distinguishes the college's students. She added, "You are the hope of the future, and the College of Science will be your second home that will support your ambitions and refine your skills."
Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Al-Ghanmi, Head of the IT Department, also gave a welcoming speech, commending the efforts of the second-year students in welcoming their new colleagues. The student who achieves the first rank in all exams of the year, including both semesters (first/second) and all tests, in any department, college, or academic level, will be exempted from 100% of tuition fees and will receive a reward of 1,500,000 IQD (one million and five hundred thousand Iraqi dinars).
The student who achieves the second rank will be exempted from 80% of tuition fees and will receive a reward of 1,000,000 IQD (one million Iraqi dinars).
The student who achieves the third rank will be exempted from 60% of tuition fees and will receive a reward of 750,000 IQD (seven hundred and fifty thousand Iraqi dinars).
The mentioned discount also includes dormitory fees.
Students who achieve any of these ranks will have priority in employment within the departments of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain.
Employment will be immediate upon graduation, provided the student maintains the same academic level throughout all years of study.
